Georgian zodiac ring, c1820
Here’s an exciting find – a rare late Georgian 18-carat gold zodiac ring.
The soft engraving around the borders is an indication of its age. Fine inner borders of twisted gold frame the symbols.
We have left the band beneath the star signs in its oxidised state, as it gives an interesting contrast of dark and bright to the overall appearance.

• Approximately 7 1/4 or O, but as it’s a wide band the fit is smaller – and this ring cannot be resized
