Vintage rose gold watch chain, hallmarked Sheffield 1992
Here’s a handsome, heavy vintage watch chain in nine-carat rose gold.
It’s substantial, weighing 63 grams, and longer than most at 18 inches (42cm). The large curb links are in unworn condition, each one stamped 375 for nine-carat gold.
On a loop above one of the two dog clips it bears a maker’s mark of E H C, a crown signifying gold and the rose symbol of the Sheffield assay office, alongside an S date stamp for 1992.
It comes with two extra loops hanging from the T-bar, which could be used to add a fob or a shield.
